Customer LAWNSNOWAPP Fee Recovery

The percentage of the $2.90 LAWNSNOWAPP platform fee per eligible Paid Service Stop that the company chooses to recover from the customer.

Why LAWNSNOWAPP asks for it

It lets the company decide how much of the platform fee appears on eligible customer invoices and how much the company absorbs.

How LAWNSNOWAPP uses it

LAWNSNOWAPP calculates customer recovery from 0% through 100% and treats the remainder as partner responsibility. Tax and merchant processing costs remain separate, and the MVP does not add a customer card surcharge.

Example

At 50%, the customer recovery is $1.45 and the partner responsibility is $1.45 for one eligible Paid Service Stop.

If you leave it blank

LAWNSNOWAPP uses the configured company default. New companies begin with the approved default shown in Company Defaults.

If you change it later

The new setting applies when eligible fees are established. Finalized historical invoices keep their stored amounts.

Financial, compliance, or safety note

The platform fee, customer recovery, partner responsibility, and merchant processing cost are separate accounting concepts. MVP processing uses flat-rate pricing without a customer surcharge.

Common mistakes

  • Treating fee recovery as sales tax
  • Treating it as payment processing cost
  • Expecting the percentage to change historical invoices
