Invoice Job Selection
The completed unpaid jobs chosen to become lines in the invoice being prepared.
Why LAWNSNOWAPP asks for it
Selection lets the Owner control which finished work is included in one invoice.
How LAWNSNOWAPP uses it
LAWNSNOWAPP totals the selected jobs, determines eligible Paid Service Stops, applies available customer credit, and calculates the draft invoice presentation.
Example
Select two completed jobs from the same customer and review the resulting service-stop, credit, tax, fee, and total presentation before generating the invoice.
If you leave it blank
No invoice can be generated from the builder until at least one eligible job is selected.
If you change it later
The draft totals recalculate from the current selection; finalized invoices and settled activity remain unchanged.
Financial, compliance, or safety note
Service, tax, LAWNSNOWAPP recovery, merchant processing cost, and gross payment remain distinct amounts. The MVP does not add a customer card surcharge.
Common mistakes
- Selecting work for the wrong customer
- Assuming selecting jobs immediately creates or pays an invoice
