How LAWNSNOWAPP uses it
LAWNSNOWAPP requires the lead to belong to the crew and have active Crew Portal access. A lead change transfers eligible open or future job responsibility.
Example
Choose an active crew member who already has an email and Crew Portal access.
If you leave it blank
No crew member is designated as lead, so lead-specific workflows may be unavailable.
If you change it later
Eligible open or future work responsibility transfers to the new lead; completed history remains intact.
Common mistakes
- Treating Crew Lead responsibility as the same thing as an administrative role
- Choosing someone outside the crew or without portal access
