Employee Workday Location
An owner-controlled workday location requirement for employees on their personal clock.
Why LAWNSNOWAPP asks for it
Location gives the owner workday context and supports reliable shop departure reminders.
How LAWNSNOWAPP uses it
OSBlueprint records available workday location and blocked permission reports. Missing or suspended GPS never creates a clock-out or prevents assigned work.
Example
Required prompts an employee with location off before a job and every ten minutes. They can continue working while fixing phone permissions.
If you leave it blank
The configured company default applies.
If you change it later
Turning the requirement off stops recording new workday locations and stops location reminders. Existing observations remain available to the owner.
Financial, compliance, or safety note
Phone and browser permissions still control whether the device can report location.
Common mistakes
- Expecting browser GPS to keep running when the phone suspends the app
- Treating missing GPS as proof an employee stopped working
