Program Deposit
The upfront amount or percentage due when a customer accepts a service program.
Why LAWNSNOWAPP asks for it
It establishes the initial payment expectation before the remaining program balance.
How LAWNSNOWAPP uses it
LAWNSNOWAPP uses the selected deposit type and value when presenting the proposal's payment schedule.
Example
25% due at acceptance, with the remainder shown as the program balance.
If you leave it blank
No deposit is presented unless the program configuration requires one.
If you change it later
Future proposal calculations use the new deposit; already accepted or finalized documents retain stored terms.
Common mistakes
- Entering 25 dollars when the type is percentage
- Using a deposit to hide the total program price
