Plans · Field Guide
Plan Start Date
The beginning date stored with the service plan and, for a new one-time plan, the scheduled date of its linked job.
Why LAWNSNOWAPP asks for it
The date establishes when the agreement begins and gives a one-time plan a concrete work date.
How LAWNSNOWAPP uses it
LAWNSNOWAPP stores it as the plan's next-service date. New one-time plans require it and create one scheduled job for that date.
Example
Choose September 3 for a one-time fall cleanup that should create a September 3 scheduled job.
If you leave it blank
A new one-time plan cannot be saved; a recurring plan may remain without a stored next-service date.
If you change it later
The plan's stored date changes. Editing it does not silently reschedule existing recurring jobs.
Common mistakes
- Treating the date as every future recurring visit
- Changing a plan date when one existing job needs rescheduling
