How LAWNSNOWAPP uses it
When separately authorized in Slice 8, OSBlueprint will record the amount through the selected purpose using existing financial-integrity rules.
Example
Record a deposit against an estimate using the displayed deposit purpose.
If you leave it blank
The payment record cannot be created without a valid purpose and amount.
If you change it later
Edit the draft before saving; settled history follows existing adjustment, void, and refund rules.
Common mistakes
- Recording the same receipt twice
- Treating an offline record as a live electronic charge
- Combining tax, platform fee, and merchant processing cost into one unexplained amount
