Jobs · Field Guide
Job Status
The job's current operational state, such as scheduled, in progress, completed unpaid, paid, delayed, skipped, overdue, or cancelled.
Why LAWNSNOWAPP asks for it
Status keeps scheduling, field progress, completed work, and payment readiness understandable.
How LAWNSNOWAPP uses it
LAWNSNOWAPP filters and presents jobs by state. Completed unpaid work becomes eligible for invoice selection; other downstream actions keep their own controls.
Example
Use Completed Unpaid after work is finished and still needs to enter the invoice workflow.
If you leave it blank
The job retains its current or default scheduled state.
If you change it later
Operational lists and eligibility may change; the status change does not itself guarantee an email, payment, or invoice was created.
Common mistakes
- Marking work Paid before recording the financial event
- Assuming Cancelled deletes the job's history
